The Compliance Register awards
The Compliance Register is an international organisation for compliance professionals and hosts an annual awards event covering the telecoms and financial services sector. It seeks to promote best practice in compliance and has built up a range of awards for the financial services sector. In 2005 for the first time there were awards for the telecommunications industry. The awards are open to anyone in the financial services or telecommunications sector and the judging is done by an independent panel of compliance experts.
The two awards for Telecommunications were:
Best Compliance Award for Telecom Companies 2005
BT won the Compliance Register OStCAR Award (Outstanding Service to Compliance and Regulation Award) for 2005.
Best Compliance Officer Award for Telecom Companies 2005
Keith Read, Director, Regulatory Compliance was presented with the Compliance Register OStCAR for best compliance officer in a telecom company 2005.
